SeekingEdges is a set of free educational calculators for casino game math: exact basic-strategy charts for blackjack and Spanish 21, a baccarat hand calculator, and dealer-outcome probabilities. Nothing here takes your money and nothing here is for sale.
How the numbers are made
Most strategy charts on the internet are copied from copies, or generated by Monte Carlo simulation — close, but noisy. Every chart on this site is computed by an exact dynamic-programming optimizer that solves each decision from the underlying probabilities, and every cell carries its exact expected value. The results are cross-checked against published strategy charts and independent simulations before they ship.
When the model has a known approximation in it, we say so on the page. See the lore for corrections and methodology notes.
What this site is not
This is not gambling advice, and perfect basic strategy does not beat the house — it only minimizes how much the house edge costs you. No system, chart, or calculator changes the fact that the games are negative expectation. If you gamble, treat it as entertainment with a price, never as income.
